Hi mates in Holland,
Here a note of the master himself. Today the celebration of Aunt Wilma's 90th birthday, the reason this journey of us started. Early out the vedders, to the church of nine o'clock. The mass was also RK so it was easy to follow, even for me, although I can't sing. The church was fully loaded, like Christmas in Holland. At the end of the mass the pastor congratulated Aunt Wilma, and also we where mentioned as the Dutchies. After the mass back to Ann and Peter's house for a small lunch and change of clothes. Lucky the Dutch men had done there Detox (C9, only availebel at West End 69 in the Veen), so with the loss of weight, the OppoSuits suit super. Of course we had the tulip suits! The party was at the local golf club, a short drive for the Aussies. We as the "Tulip Guys" made an onuitwisbare impression entering the party. OppoSuits reached Australie (when does the sponsormoney comes?) The sons of Aunt Wilma, Peter, Phillip and John all took an option on our suits. After the high tea, with sandwiches and tea, the children of Aunt Wilma, Ann, Helen, Theresa and the tree brothers started their speeches, Philipp as the MC (master of ceremony) first "roasted (burn them of!)" his brothers and sisters, and of course they did it the opposite way. It was a kind of standup comedy. Also Jacqueline did a word "right out of the sleeve", After that we did the bithday singing in English and Dutch, for Aunt Wilma, great. Then they started up a slide show with old and new pictures and spoken tekst by Aunt Wilma, even for me it was a bit emotional. The party was walking to an end. It was nice to see all of the Collignon clan. With Lachlan, the son of Ann and Peter, whe brought some flowers to the retire-house where Aunt Wilma lives, and of course the OppoSuits did also there a great entrance. Back by Ann and Peter we had diner. After this great day, our lamps went out, just like the lamp above the table did. Bedtime! Greeting from all of us.
